Beer Works Heads into Overtime

There is just something special about overtime. Sitting on the edge of your seat, biting your nails as each and every play is under an intense microscope. Has there been anything more exciting than these first two overtime games of the Stanley Cup Finals? Of course there hasn’t. It just makes sense to pair these types of moments with a craft beer that is just as exciting. This is where I would like to introduce you to the Beer Works Overtime Series. These limited release beers highlight the creativity and skill of the brewers at Beer Works. By introducing a mix of unusual ingredients and variations on traditional styles they have truly tested the limits of beer.

Now available in package is the first release in the series: RIPA. What does RIPA exactly stand for you ask? It is Rosemary Imperial Pale Ale. If you attended the American Craft Beer Fest (ACBF) earlier this month, you would have had the opportunity to sample RIPA at the Beer Works station. To tell you the truth, I did not know what to expect from this beer. But, I was pleasantly surprised. This beer has a very hoppy IPA base with a unique bitter and flower profile coming from the rosemary.
