Nebraska Brewing Company's new IPA
Submitted by pkavulak on Mon, 01/24/2011 - 11:09am
Based upon our love for an abundance of hops, months ago we set upon a re-examination of our IPA.
The outcome of this effort was an IPA with a West Coast influence yet a creation born right here in Nebraska.
Rich in flavor and abundant in citrus, pine, and floral aromatics which were created through a wonderful infusion of Citra hops.
Completely refreshing with a medium mouthfeel, crisp bitterness and nearly balanced malt.
Finishes dry with a head that creates excellent lacing.
7.0 ABV, 71 IBU
The pilot brewing is done - now shipping!

Just tried the Cardinal PA
Just tried the Cardinal PA and it was big to say the least. I'd love to try this!
Cardinal has that big Cascade
Cardinal has that big Cascade nose and the IPA has an even larger Citra blast - let me know what you think when you find it

Cardinal Pale Ale / IPA
Thanks for giving it a try! Yeah, Cardinal is on the bigger side for a Pale Ale and when it's sitting next to some IPAs you can see an eyebrow raise. Cardinal has that big Cascade nose and the IPA has an even larger Citra blast - let me know what you think when you find it!
