Forged in 1995, AleSmith is an artisan microbrewery that specializes in handcrafted ales in a variety of styles. Deeply rooted in the amateur and craft brewing communities, AleSmith ales have continued to garner national and international awards and acclaim, as well as a loyal and rabid following among beer enthusiasts.
All AleSmith employees are homebrewers. Each is an award-winning member of a local homebrew club. The owner and head brewer are past presidents of their homebrew club.
Every AleSmith ale is an all-natural, unpasteurized, handcrafted artisan product brewed using only premium domestic and imported malts and hops, precisely conditioned water and our quality yeast strains.
There are no artificial additives or preservatives of any kind. All AleSmith bottled beers are bottle-conditioned, meaning that the carbonation comes from an additional live yeast in every bottle, not force-carbonation from pressurized CO2 gas.
