The Ellicottville Brewing Company is the result of a desire to open a family business. The inspiration struck while on a ski trip to Vail, where other craft brewers began. There was the realization that Ellicottville, sometimes referred to as the "Aspen of the East," would be the perfect location for a craft brewery and grill.
The EBC is now considered a local marvel for its old Victorian, woodsy charm. The original building was once a mill and carpenters shop. After restoration, a 10 BBL Hungarian brewing system was installed, complimented with a historic, turn-of-the-century, solid black walnut and granite columned bar.
