The story of Finch's Beer began in the early part of 2009, when Ben Finch decided to put his experience in marketing and design into action by working on his own product. For years, he helped clients develop brands, in just about every industry, and it was time for him to do one himself.

Benjamin Finch
Owner & Managing Member
As an owner and executive of The Killswitch Collective, a design and development studio in Chicago, over the past 7 years, Ben has hands-on experience in day-to-day business management, operations and finance, and in attracting, training and managing a staff of up to 20 creative, development professionals and support personnel. He has a BFA in Visual Communication from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has always had a passion for drinking craft beer!
Richard Grant
Owner & Head Brewer
Richard's facination with craft beer stems back to his first taste of quality brewed beer. Richard is an experienced brewer and has been instrumental in the development of our beer recipes. He has experience as a professional brewmaster and in managing a beer business, and he’s been responsible for the full operation of a brewery. Richard has trained at the Siebel Institute of Technology and has a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Paul Finch
Owner
Paul is the founding principal and has been the managing partner for over 23 years of PF&A DESIGN, a healthcare architectural studio located in Norfolk, VA. Paul is a board certified healthcare architect with the American College of Healthcare Architects and has practiced architecture for over 35 years. When Ben presented the opportunity to join with him to help “Finch’s Beer Company” become a reality, Paul realizing Ben’s passion for the craft brewing industry saw it as an opportunity to do something fun and different. This endeavor has opened his horizons to great craft beers and the great community of craft brewers.
