Lammi Sahti Oy is Finland's oldest operating small brewery, established in 1985. The brewery is located in the municipality Lammi Lieson village, where our country's first official sahdit produced at the end of May 1987 Lammi Flax Market.
Alko extended the right to manufacture brewer in December 1987 and the first retail sale of prepared sahdit were released in January 1988. In August 1988 Lammi Sahdin brewery introduced the world's largest furrow (Guinness: A great record book, 1989), a capacity of 2500 liters.
In 2002, Lammi Sahti was the first manufacturer sahdin access Genuine Traditional product label, which the European Union gave Finland Sahti club.
