Stawski Imports Established in 1845 by Johann Evangelist Götz (1815-1893), born in Wirtemberg. His son Jan Albin expanded the family business, married a Polish aristocrat, and changed his name to Goetz-Okocimski. In 1945 the brewery was nationalised, and reprivatised in the 1990s. Since 1996 the brewery has been a part of Carlsberg Breweries A/S.
