Weizen Up To Paulaner's Authentic Munich Beers
A New Beer Garden Tradition
Munich residents know how to unwind. For centuries they've gathered at their favorite biergartens to enjoy refreshing beers in the shade of chestnut trees.
Paulaner brings this beer garden experience to the U.S. American culture is "go-go-go" all the time but quality beer like Paulaner is not something you want to drink on the run. When Americans plan a get-together with friends, Paulaner beer is there to make the time more enjoyable.
Paulaner Popularity Soars
Paulaner's increasing popularity in the U.S. indicates a growing interest in authentic, quality Bavarian wheat beer from Munich, Germany.
History:
Brewed in Munich, Germany, Paulaner is known worldwide for its quality. The Paulaner monks brewed the first Paulaner beer in 1634. During the Lenten period forced to fast on only bread and water, the monks reasoned that beer could be brewed as "liquid bread" and not violate their Lenten promise. The Paulaner monks' "liquid bread" became the world's first Double Bock - Paulaner Salvator. Those were some enterprising monks who changed brewing history forever.
