Corsica, the French island-region located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, is known as the "Island of Beauty". It is within this natural environment, preserved and unique, that Brasserie Pietra opened its doors in 1996.
Dominique Sialelli, Brasserie Pietra's founder, comes from a small village in Upper Corsica - PietraSerena. The company was named after him.
Working with a respect for traditional brewing methods, Brasserie Pietra practises a rigorous selection of its raw materials in order to produce beers of the highest quality that are inspired by the region's soil:
- Pietra, an amber ale brewed with Corsican sweet chestnut flour
- Colomba, a white ale brewed from barley and wheat and flavoured with herbs
