Sleeping Lady Brewing Company was founded in 1996 by the Klopfer Family. The building was formerly used as an Elks Lodge and has five floors and several large banquet rooms, a theatre, an indoor eating area, a pub, a microbrewery, and two outdoor decks. We brew over 50 different styles of beer a year and have a 15 draft handles, a cask engine, and Alaska's first and only craft beer canning facility. We have seven standard brands as well as a plethora of seasonal and special one off beers. We believe in providing our guest with the highest quality beer possible by, never filtering our beer, using only the highest quality imported grains, using the freshest American and European Hops, and never using cheap adjuncts for the purpose of lowering cost. We are firm believers that beer is a slow food and should be allowed the proper time to mature and develop it's proper flavors naturally. We have successfully marketed our products to the local community and have developed such a following for our beers that we have no need to sell our beer out of state. Stop by for a visit, try one of our hand crafted and lovingly poured beers on our deck, and enjoy a beautiful view of the Cook Inlet.
