American and European brewmasters have come together to create the Trumer Brauerei Berkeley. With a passionate commitment to the Pilsner style, this international team has worked tirelessly to preserve every detail of the original Trumer Pils process of its centuries old brewery in Salzburg, Austria. Their efforts have paid off. Trumer Brauerei Berkeley combines the heritage and tradition of the old world with the new world's dedication to craft brewing.
Ben E. Keith has partnered with Trumer International and The Gambrinus Company to bring Trumer Pils into North Texas. It is brewed at the 400-year old Trumer Brauerei in Salzburg, located in Austria's scenic Alpine country. Owned by the Sigl family since 1775, the Brauerei is run today by Josef Sigl VII. It's sister brewery, the Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley carefully carries on the traditional brewing methods demonstrated by Trumer's Gold Medal win at the 2006 World Beer Cup Awards and is now one of the top selling high end beers in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
Our Philosophy
Throughout our history we have believed in quality. We still do and always will. We believe that if you want quality output, you must pay attention to what goes in, both when it comes to natural ingredients and hard work.
Every detail in the process has been perfected, from planting of hops, to brewing, to pouring. Only through this attention to detail can we ensure a Pilsner of the highest quality. We would never do it any other way.
