Zymatore Tasting at Georgetown Pizzeria Paradiso - Monday, May 7, 2012 from 5pm-9pm

Georgetown Pizzeria Paradiso will host an unprecedented Zymatore tasting tonight, Monday, May 7, 2012. The Zymatore Project is B. United importers' barrel-aging endeavor that takes special beers, ciders and meads and ages them in select wine and spirits barrels before blending them, dosing them with a new yeast, refermenting them and repackaging them for consumption. The liquids for aging are imported by B. United and sanctioned by their world-class producers. The results defy the boundaries of beer, cider and mead and create beautifully amazing end results. Zymology is the study of fermentation, and "atore" translates from Latin to mean "blessed". What we have is blessed fermentation.

Tonight, 9 Zymatore offerings will be on draft. $3 per 5 oz. serving or $5 for a 5 oz. serving paired with bites of food specifically curated for this event.
