But if you want extraordinary, 400 craft brews, interface with Brewmasters, industry experts, brew knowledge mixed in with live music, beautiful scenery and the beach - then head on down to Galveston Island over Labor Day weekend for the 2nd annual Brewmasters Craft Beer Festival - the largest, most comprehensive craft beer celebration in the lone star state!

The second annual BrewMaster's Craft Beer Festival is a unique multi-day event created for beer drinkers, learners, enthusiasts and experts. The weekend starts off with BrewLicious on Friday Evening! Home based at Galveston's Moody Gardens, this four-day weekend is all about beer and cheer, offering over 400 Craft beers, culinary variety, and more than 20 innovative events.

The festivities will be throughout the 242 acres of botanical beauty with specialty events at various venues around Galveston Island. Two days of the BrewHaHa Grand Tasting over 400 Craft beers including a new addition of Keg Korner featuring hard to source beer on tap

BrewLicious Beer and fine food pairing, daily live music, Island Discovery tours and the BrewTopia Beer Garden are just the beginning. Immerse yourself in unique beer educational seminars for novice and enthusiasts alike, offerings include Burgers, Brats, BBQ, Beach and more along with a Final Night Fireworks showcase! These are just a few of the things that encapsulate the BrewMaster's Craft Beer Festival.

Centered at Moody Gardens, the festival is comprised of the following events and more:

BrewLicious Beer & Food Pairing
Friday, August 31 – 7 to 10PM
Approximately sixteen featured food selections that will be paired with sixteen beers; plus, another 150 beers will be served, as well.

Brewmasters Friday Night Pub Crawl
Friday, August 31 – 8PM to midnight
A bus tour of Galveston bars with beer industry folks at each stop to provide insight, if desired, into the beers you are drinking.

Texas Brewery Tasting Tour
Saturday, September 1 – 11:30AM to 12:45PM
This is a tasting of beers from several Texas breweries with their representatives.

BrewHaHa VIP Premium Lounge
Saturday, September 1 – 2 to 6:30PM
An $85 VIP pass allows admission to the Grand Tasting event an hour early as well as access to a private area with seating and food and beer.

BrewHaHa Grand Tasting with Keg Korner
Saturday, September 1 – 3 to 6:30PM
Over 400 beers from local, regional and national breweries of note will be poured.

Brew Stars and ’Gars – Craft Beer and Cigar Paring Dinner
Saturday, September 1 – 7:30 to 9:30PM
A reception and three-course dinner orchestrated by Chef Urs Schmid of Shearn’s in Galveston featuring four craft beers and three cigars. Business attire is required; no shorts or t-shirts are allowed for this.

Brews, Boots & BBQ
Sunday, September 2 – 5PM to midnight
“For a $10 cover charge, beer lovers get their pick of 400 selections for a flat price per bottle” with live country music, too.
