The Archaeology of Beer at DISCOVERY WORLD
For those interested in all things beer you may be interested in an ongoing brewing series at DISCOVERY WORLD museum in Milwaukee, WI entitled: "Ale through the Ages: The Anthropology & Archaeology of Brewing." This adult education program expounds upon the ancient art of brewing beer, as well as the ethnographic variations of this fermented beverage throughout the world. Taught by Discovery Worlds staff archaeologist and aficionado of ancient brewing methods, participants in these brewing workshops learn how to make traditional and ancient ales, as well as the techniques needed to brew at home. The best part is that participants get to bottle these peculiar beers and take them home with them.
