Beyond Kombucha is proud to announce our transition to a full-fledged alcohol beverage.

The federal government has classified our products as "Tea Beer" in that we are a fermented beverage using sugar in place of hops as the fermentable agent.

Most kombucha producers have dodged the alcohol bullet by re-formulating, immediately refrigerating, or pasteurizing. These practices invariably produce a flat, dead, or artifically carbonated product that defeats the purpose of the live probiotics for which kombucha is so well known and loved.

We at Beyond Kombucha have boldly chosen to uphold our raw, live and vibrant brewing and bottling techniques, and to condition our beverages to a perfect soft carbonation, resulting in approximately 1.5% alcohol by volume.
