New member requesting advice on beer business

Hi People,
I wanted to request advice and info regarding prospect of starting my own beer business. I have made home beer for decades, but nothing else. I have my own building for space and I am a chemist. I figure those are pluses, but not fooling myself that its a slam dunk from there. I understand the small breweries live with narrow profit margins, but not sure what that means. Of course, profit is a big factor cuz if it is absent, well, you know the rest.
I have my own lab although, I will need to modify/add some testing equipment, but I dont see that as a big problem including learning test methods. Well, I figure lets start with this post and perhaps there is hope for further discussion, eh?
Thanks, Members.

Quack, I would highly
Quack,
I would highly recommend getting in touch with the folks at the Brewers Association. They are a wealth of knowledge for new brewers and a great place to meet home brewers and other folks who have been in the same boat! Below is a link to the Brewers Association websites.

I hope this helps! Good luck in your endevors!!!
