I recently thought I read that there was a brewery in Colorado that brewed only sour brews. Did I dream up such a wonderful place or does this place actually exist? If this place doesn't exist what are some people's favorite tasting rooms in the greater Denver metro area?

You might be thinking of Crooked Stave (http://www.crookedstave.com), who are currently brewing @ Funkwerks in Fort Collins, but looking to move to Denver in the future. Currently it is a small operation, and the owner/brewer Chad Yakobson plans on doing many/most of his beers with Brettanomyces as well as lactic acid bacteria...
He is also the brains behind "The Brettanomyces Project" (http://www.brettanomycesproject.com/), which chronicles the research going into his dissertation on the yeast Brettanomyces/Dekkera.
