Seaboard Products Company and Craft Brewers Guild are leading Anheuser-Busch and craft beer distributors located in Danvers, MA. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager for our shared facility. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and maintenance of the building and grounds. They will also be responsible for ensuring that product is properly stored and rotated in the warehouse and on the trucks. The days and hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise warehouse and maintenance staff and track activity
• Schedule and supervise Redemption Center deliveries
• Manage and schedule all incoming deliveries to the warehouse
• Order supplies including repack, bar shells and maintenance products
• Manage incoming and outgoing transfers between our family of distributors
• Supervise maintenance of building and grounds to exceed wholesaler equity standards
• Assist and dispatch special deliveries as needed
• Handle telephone calls from delivery drivers
• Check in returning delivery trucks and supervise unloading
• Serve as backup in absence of Delivery Manager, Shipper and Night Supervisor
• Assist on special projects as needed
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to supervise 5 to 15 subordinates
• Excellent communication ability
• Read and write in order to manage warehouse and staff
• Excellent computer skills
CRITICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding machine and copier
• Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
• Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
• Frequent exposure to temperatures ranging from 30 - 100 degrees F on a seasonal basis
• Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on an occasional basis
• Two handed lifting of kegs up to 160 pounds from floor to waist.
All candidates considered will have a background check, pre-employment drug screen and a physical.
