English Style Pale Ale
Our flagship beer, an English style pale ale. Wonderfully balanced with Maris Otter malt, hints of crystal malt and generously hopped with East Kent Goldings, it has a rich honey color and fruity hop aroma. It is named in honor of Nantucket's whaling history.
Best With:
This English style ale was primarily brewed to go along with all sorts of seafood yet lends itself well with game bird, broth style soups and particularly well with almonds.

American Double / Imperial Pilsner
My Antonia started out as a Collaboration beer when Sam brewed it at Birra del Borgo (hope you can read Italian) outside Rome, Italy with owner/brewer Leonardo DiVencenzo in October of 2008. In 2010, we began brewing My Antonia here at Dogfish Head brewery in Delaware for U.S. distribution.
My Antonia (named after the Willa Cather read), is a continually-hopped imperial pilsner.

Dry Hopped Pale Ale
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. Our medium-bodied, Pale Ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. Founders Pale Ale has a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. A perfect beer to enjoy while mowing the lawn, boating, grilling with friends or just taking it easy.
Best With:
This American pale ale's fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor lend to this beer's ideal match with generously spiced foods such as Southern barbeque, wasabi crusted Japanese dishes, and curry based Indian dishes. This beer is also the perfect complement to grilled meats, particularly burgers, and pizza.

Rye Ale
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Red's Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and huge citrus bouquet achieved from the immense amarillo dry hop. The generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.
Best With:
Outstanding with charcoal grilled meats, from juicy burgers to braised ribs to marinated pork tenderloin.

Scotch Style Ale
Founders flagship beer. Dirty Bastard is an absolute beautiful beer to behold. Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. This beer "ain't fer the wee lads."
Best With:
This chewy Scotch ale pairs beautifully with smoked or grilled meats, particularly gamey meats such as rabbit or venison.

Double IPA
Strength (ABV):
10.8% ABV
Bitterness (IBU):
110 IBU
Terrapin Side Project 12 is none other than the fearless Hopzilla Double IPA. This hoptastic creature clocks in at 110 IBUs and has all the hop explosions of a B-rate monster movie.
Made with 100% Maris Otter malt to back up the barrage of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma, this beast knows no boundaries. With all of this hoppy goodness packed into one beer, we wouldn’t have called it by any other name.
Best With:
With a bold emphasis on hop bitterness, India pale ales are the ultimate beverage pairing for spicy dishes. The sharp hop presence in most India pale ales can stand up to even the most devilish of spices in Cajun, Malaysian, Japanese, Indian, and Mexican cuisine.
