Tawny amber in color with a coffee aroma and tight head. A delicate roasted malt accent, generous use of hops and a smooth finish. American Amber, originally known as Ashland Amber (created at Rogue's original brewpub in Ashland, Oregon which was destroyed by flooding several years ago), is created from Northwest Harrington and Klages, 95-115 and 135-165 Crystal Malts. Kent Golding and Cascade Hops.
This beautiful beer's roasted malt flavor is fantastic with medium weight meals such as glazed hams, cured meats, smoked fish, chicken, turkey and Cornish hen dishes. This beer would also work well with nuts and salads with nut accents.
Real change is here! No longer will American beer lovers be forced to choose between those quirky, eccentric beers of Belgium or the explosively flavorful IPAs of the United States.
We have brewed the change we have been waiting for!
Made from a secret recipe, Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer has 4 top secret ingredients. We combine these with steeped ginger, which we still ship all the way from the Far East, just as the first Scots Merchant Adventurers did all those years ago. That explains the Elephant Trademark old chap!At Crabbie’s, we do things by the book – no shortcuts for us old chap! The ginger in Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer is steeped for 6 long weeks to produce its deep, deliciously spicy flavour. Top marks
Saisons were pale ales originally brewed in the farmhouses of Wallonia, the French speaking region of Belgium. Giving it their own twist, the brewers at Cape Ann added fresh rhubarb and 250lbs whole strawberries to the brew. The result is a light pink hue and flavors that wonderfully compliment the natural tartness of the traditional saison.
