Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White is unique and truly refreshing. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and our own special blend of spices, this beer is light and slightly cloudy in appearance, with a spicy aroma.

Blue Moon Belgian White is a refreshing, medium-bodied, unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale spiced with fresh coriander and orange peel for a uniquely complex taste and an uncommonly smooth finish. The name "Belgian White" is a reference to the cloudy white, opaque appearance of the beer. "Belgian White" also refers to the style of beer, which has been brewed in Belgium for about 300 years. Blue Moon is traditionally served with a slice of orange to complement the orange peel used in the brewing process. Blue Moon was launched in 1995.

This beer displays a cloudy golden color and a dense, frothy head. The yeast, which has not been filtered out, accounts for the cloudiness of UFO. Wheat malt tends to create a larger head than barley malt, the cereal grain most often used in brewing. The aroma has a faint but clear citrus-like character. This is produced by the special yeast and accounts for the Bavarian tradition of serving hefeweizens with a lemon. The lemon accentuates the yeast's fruity, tart fragrance. UFO has a soft mouth feel and a refreshing, light body.

A Shandy is lemonade flavored beer, a European favorite during the warmer months. And the light, crisp flavor makes it a great summer refresher. Each batch of Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy is carefully brewed using the finest wheat, malted barley and just a hint of real Wisconsin honey. Then, our brewmasters mix in fresh lemonade and citrus flavors to create an adventurous taste that’s perfect for those lazy days of summer. Available April through August.

Crisp like the morning, cool like the evening and quenching all day long. It's the beer that dances to the beat of summer. Pop the top and set your summer loose. Wacko is the song of summer.

A delicious, beet-red summer beer with a big malty aroma, a subdued hop bite and a clean, slightly sweet finish.

Our Hefeweizen is a golden unfiltered wheat beer. It is Maine's original German-style Hefeweizen. We ferment it with a traditional German yeast strain which produces its unique fruitiness. Malted red wheat gives it a crisp body and dense white head. It is light in the body so it easy to drink at any time.

As an unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale, this beer is naturally cloudy with a light golden color. The beer is best enjoyed in a tall, wide-mouthed glass. To serve the brew perfectly, follow these pouring guidelines. Pour the brew down the side of the glass until about one-half inch of brew is left in the bottle. Lay the bottle on its side and roll it gently back and forth, mixing the remaining yeast that has settled at the bottom. Pour the rest of the brew, producing a nice, thick collar of foam.

A slightly hazy golden colored brew. We used a combination of noble hops to bring in earthy and light citric hop notes. Belgian yeast notes, light spicy flavors, soft lightly sweet malts and a crisp dry finish. This is a favorite recipe and one that we’ve enjoyed cellared for up to two years.
