1926 saw the birth of one of the most important additions to the family, Stella Artois. Stella, the Latin word for star, was first introduced in celebration of the festive season. It was an instant sensation, and became so popular that it stayed in demand throughout history, and for decades to come. Today, Stella Artois is renowned as a quality beer conditioned for an average of 6 - 11 days longer than most other beers. It is full-bodied with an alcohol content of 5.2% ABV and is best enjoyed at a cool 3o C.

An assertively hopped American Pale Ale with citrusy and piney Cascade hops. Gradually evolved from an English town called Burton-upon-Trent that was known for its distinctive hard water supply and propensity to brew a lighter colored beer than was common at the time. Named after the infamous 1969 burning of the Cuyahoga River.

Every year, spring time in New England is an awakening of the senses. After a long, cold winter, just about everyone (and everything) is ready to start anew. Little flower buds peak from the ground and animals begin to wake up from their winter naps. From the blooming flowers to the fresh, baby green grass, everything is given another chance. You can hear the hum of honey bees in the blossoming apple orchards, preparing for the fruit that will soon begin to grow. Our Limited Edition Spring Cider was made with this experience in mind.

As an unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale, this beer is naturally cloudy with a light golden color. The beer is best enjoyed in a tall, wide-mouthed glass. To serve the brew perfectly, follow these pouring guidelines. Pour the brew down the side of the glass until about one-half inch of brew is left in the bottle. Lay the bottle on its side and roll it gently back and forth, mixing the remaining yeast that has settled at the bottom. Pour the rest of the brew, producing a nice, thick collar of foam.

Scape Goat is brewed with pale, crystal malts, and Kent Goldings and Crystal Hops. Scape Goat is 3.8% alcohol by weight and 4.7% by volume.

Named Cinq Cents in 75 cl (25.4 fl.oz.) bottles, this beer with its typical golden color, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterized by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer's flavor, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of Muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth.

While traveling in Belgium, we visited an abbey that was surrounded by great legends and folklore. We were lucky enough to hear their story and enjoy the great beer they brew. We wanted to share what we'd heard and tasted, so we created Matilda. Matilda is made with a rare yeast that suggests a fruity and spicy flavor. There is complex maltiness balanced with a profuse amount of hops making it a great beer to enjoy with a plate of fresh mussels.

Climb on in and grab a paddle. Our first foray into lagered beers, Blue Paddle Pilsener-Lager, is a Czech style pilsener with a refreshing crispness from noble hops and a rich, malty finish. 'Blue Paddle' refers to the implement our warehouse manager's Grandma once used to lovingly paddle his a** when she caught him stealing sips of her beer. In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved popular and was incorporated into a bottled product a few years later with Maierbock as the elixir. Strangely, the association with the Grateful Dead is pure coincidence. Dead Guy is a German-style Maibock made with Rogue's proprietary "PacMan" ale yeast.

Going back to the days of Dickens, we found our inspiration for this gingerbread stout. The traditional English stout, with its dark roasted malts, is the perfect backdrop for the warming spices of gingerbread like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and ginger. To go one step further, we increased the strength and added flaked oats to creates a velvety smoothness that mimics the taste of the gingerbread for a warming treat on any winter’s night.
