Abbey Ale honors the ancient tradition of monks who perfected the art of brewing beer to support the monastery and their "liquid bread". We offer up our support and thank them with a 25¢ donation to St. Joseph's Abbey with every bottle sold of this heavenly brew. Dark amber in color, the aroma of caramel, fruits and cloves invites you to contemplate the creamy head of this "Dubbel" or double ale. Yuengling Original Black & Tan is a pioneer brand that models a traditional English Half & Half. Introduced in 1986, Yuengling produced one of the first hand-crafted draft blends to lead this style of American brewing. Black & Tan combines our popular Dark Brewed Porter and Premium Beer to create a brew that is rich and dark in color, with a well balanced flavor that finishes smooth and satisfying. Warsteiner Premium Dunkel is an exceptionally smooth and highly drinkable German dark lager. Dunkel has a deep chestnut brown hue, toasty malt and mocha aromas, with a medium-bodied palate and subtle hop bitterness on the finish. Dunkel is brewed with fresh Arnsberger Forest spring water sourced at the brewery in Warstein, Germany, naturally soft water that helps to create the smooth taste and thick creamy head.

Between the years of 1630 and 1648 in the city of Agra in the country of India, the Shah Jahan erected a monument to his favorite wife. He called his monument “Taj Mahal” The name Taj Mahal literally means “The best of buildings”. Indeed, when viewed from near or from faraway, its visage is the essence of heavenly beauty in architecture. The Shah Jahan intended the palace as a home for his beautiful wife. Unfortunately the best hopes (as history reminds us), are sometimes dashed to the four winds; instead, the Taj Mahal became a mausoleum rather than a home.
