It's said in jest that the Scots like a drink. Put aside those clumsy "comedy" stereotypes for a second, and you'll find that our love of good beer is a more considered affair. Belhaven Scottish Ale is a fine example of this appreciation. This classic 3.9% strength Scottish ale is a real old timer, having been brewed at Belhaven longer that any other beer. Its sweet ruby mix of malt and hops pampers and primes the palate, preparing you for a smooth creamy finish. It's a carefully crafted ale to make our nation swell with pride.
Game birds, lamb and roast pork are ideal food pairings for this Scottish Ale.
American-style amber ale. Budweiser American Ale has a robust taste that's full-bodied, but not too heavy or too bitter. Carefully brewed with the highest quality American ingredients, this rich, amber-colored, all malt ale delivers a satisfying bold taste with a bright hoppy finish. It's an ale that's distinctly American in character.
Amber ales are great with anything off the backyard grill.
Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute .I.P.A.., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall The Enamel Animal!

Gratefully dedicated to the Rogue in each of us. In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved popular and was incorporated into a bottled product a few years later with Maierbock as the elixir. Strangely, the association with the Grateful Dead is pure coincidence. Dead Guy is a German-style Maibock made with Rogue's proprietary "PacMan" ale yeast.
This amber colored ale pairs nicely with brothy soups, salted almonds, game birds and seafood. This brew also offers a nice companion to cheeses and fruits.
Our most popular beer, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor.
While we think Pale Ale tastes great with everything, its assertive hop flavor goes especially well with spicy cuisine, since its clean flavors counterbalance the richness of many hot dishes. It also goes well with starters and salads, its spicy complexity stimulating both appetites and conversation.
Dark and rich, Sierra Nevada Porter is a delicious, medium-bodied ale with a creamy head. The Porter's smooth flavor (malty with hints of caramel) comes from a blend of deep-roasted barley malts.
While porters are traditionally paired with steak (think Porterhouse), its deep maltiness is an equally perfect match for the rich, smoky flavors of grilled Portobello mushrooms. The creaminess of Porter's chocolate and caramel malts also makes it a perfect accompaniment to desserts, especially those made with chocolate.
So you think you don't like dark beer? Prepare to believe. This is no ordinary porter. And if you are already among the enlightened who appreciate a fine ebony-hued ale, we think you will find Stone Smoked Porter to be a poignant addition to your repertoire. This beer pours a gorgeous deep mahogany crowned by a creamy head. Dark, smooth and complex, with rich chocolate and coffee flavors balanced by a subtle smokiness, this brew is equally delicious with meats or fine chocolates.
This hearty porter is a great accompaniment to a wide array of Mexican dishes, burgers, steaks, sausages, ham, smoky flavors and chocolate desserts.
A rich, flavorful Amber that's smooth and easy to drink. Drop Top is fermented by an American Ale yeast to produce beer with a clean flavor and fruity aroma. The velvet texture is from using Honey malt and a touch of milk sugar. The Alchemy bittering hops provide soft bitterness. Simcoe, a newly developed hop variety, adds unique hop flavor and aroma. 2004 GABF Gold Medal Award Winner 2008 GABF Gold Medal Award Winner
