Bayrischer Bahnhof's interpretation is a slightly softer, more mellow version of the "Berliner Weisse" style with a beautiful balance of tartness, fruitiness, and sweetness. Straw color with some haze, big dense head and insistent sparkle when poured correctly. Aroma offers sweet and sour notes with a hint of raspberries. Mellow character with raspberry and citrus flavors with lactic tartness in the background.

Best With: 
The Berliner style weiss is almost always paired with a red raspberry or a green woodruff herbal syrup. To serve, pour about a tablespoon of the syrup in the bottom of a glass, then fill with beer at the table for a dramatic presentation. It's not uncommon to serve with a straw on a hot summer day.

Deep brick red reminiscent of a vintage Burgundy Wine. Fine crown of froth. Amazing nose featuring a wide range of aromas : spices (cinnamon, wood), fruit spirits and a touch of licoricey, vegetal dryness. On the palate, it needs more time than your average craft beer, first velvety with just enough condition to bring it to live, followed by a slight sharp vinous note and a very subdued bitterness. The finish is strikingly long and port-like.

Try it with pan-fried duck breast or foie gras déglacéed with Modena balsamic vinegar… or with a high cocoa contents dark chocolate.

J.W. Lees Vintage Harvest Ale is only brewed once a year for release on December 1 of each year. It is a Limited Edition Vintage to celebrate the first brew from each year's harvest of barley and hops. Pale in color it has a warm, estery aroma, a good deal of malty flavors on the palate, and a lot of hoppy dryness in the finish.

Best With: 
Primarily thought of as a digestif, it turns out that barley wines have an affinity to lamb, venison and wild boar. Classic cheeses such as English and Vermont cheddars as well as aged Gruyeres from Switzerland. Caramelized desserts as crème brûlée and crepes as well as a good vanilla ice cream can finish a wonderful evening of food and beer.

Leipziger Gose is a top-fermenting wheat beer {60% wheat, 40% barley malt} with coriander, salt, and lactic acid bacteria added in the boil. It is a 4.5% alc/vol eclectic beer whose name evokes a close relationship to the renowned Lambic/Geuze breweries in the Valley Senne nearby Brussels, Belgium. Very bright gold, fairly clear, spritzy. The aroma suggests a hint of apple-skin, champagne-like with leafy undertones. Carnegie Porter is a Swedish beer classic. It has been brewed since 1836 and the label which has undergone no change through the years is the oldest registered brand of all categories of Sweden.
