Named Grande Réserve in 75 cl (25.4 fl.oz.) bottles, it is principally distinguished by its character of a strong beer. Brewed By:
Sierra Nevada
Self-Defined Style:
American Pale Ale
Strength (ABV):
5.6% ABV
Bitterness (IBU):
38 IBU

Our most popular beer, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor.

Best With:
While we think Pale Ale tastes great with everything, its assertive hop flavor goes especially well with spicy cuisine, since its clean flavors counterbalance the richness of many hot dishes. It also goes well with starters and salads, its spicy complexity stimulating both appetites and conversation.

Mahr's Bock

Product - Mahr's Bock
Brewed By:
Mahr's
Self-Defined Style:
Bock
Strength (ABV):
6.0% ABV

Mahr's Bock is different from some more commercial bocks in Germany. It's a little sweet, of course, and strong, but unlike the rest of them, it is only lightly filtered, and unpasteurized. That means a lot more flavor, with nuance and complexity that you have never experienced in a Bock before, as well as a warm, almost rough texture that is wholesome and gratifying. At the same time, it is shockingly pale and light on the pallet, with a lovely fresh malt flavor, refreshing enough to drink even in summer (if you're in the mood for something a little more substantial).

Best With:
This hearty bock beer pairs well with roast pork tenderloin, fried chicken, barbeque and quesadillas.
