Our most popular beer, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor.

Best With: 
While we think Pale Ale tastes great with everything, its assertive hop flavor goes especially well with spicy cuisine, since its clean flavors counterbalance the richness of many hot dishes. It also goes well with starters and salads, its spicy complexity stimulating both appetites and conversation.

This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory - maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing your words as you read this.

Best With: 
This IPA's generous hop character makes it an ideal pairing with spicy foods such as barbecue, dry-rubbed ribs, or ethnic cuisine such as curry based Indian food, wasabi based Japanese dishes, or spicy Thai entrees.
