Gratefully dedicated to the Rogue in each of us. In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved popular and was incorporated into a bottled product a few years later with Maierbock as the elixir. Strangely, the association with the Grateful Dead is pure coincidence. Dead Guy is a German-style Maibock made with Rogue's proprietary "PacMan" ale yeast.

The gentle rain and fertile soil of Ireland helped inspire this style of ale, known for being remarkably balanced. Pale and Caramel malts give the beer its rich, deep red color and distinctive caramel flavor. The sweetness of the malt is pleasantly balanced by a pronounced hop bitterness and an earthy note from the East Kent Goldings hops. Samuel Adams® Irish Red finishes smooth and leaves you wanting to take another sip.

Hearty and smooth, brewed with select Moravian malt, Samuel Adams Octoberfest is red to golden amber in color. Primarily malty, slightly fruity with low to medium bitterness.

Boathouse Brown Ale is a medium bodied brown Ale. It is brewed with caramel, chocolate and black malts to give it a deep mahogany color. It is well balanced with American hops and is a great session beer.

This classic English style pale ale is named after renowned Civil War hero Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. The golden copper color of this award-winning beer is enhanced by Pale Ale, Crystal, and Chocolate malts. Chamberlain Pale Ale is dry and crisp upfront with an aromatic hoppy finish, featuring Fuggles, Cascade, and Tettnang hops.

Prelude Special ale is full-bodied in the true English style. It's a rich and nutty ale with a hoppy finish and an inviting deep amber hue.

Original Pub Style is a light copper-colored medium-bodied with a nice dry bite at the finish. A subtle combination of Cascade and Willamette hops give this ale a fine floral aroma and a slightly fruity aftertaste. The taste captures the freshness of a hand-crafted brew pub ale that goes right from the conditioning tank to your glass! This beer displays a cloudy golden color and a dense, frothy head. The yeast, which has not been filtered out, accounts for the cloudiness of UFO. Wheat malt tends to create a larger head than barley malt, the cereal grain most often used in brewing. The aroma has a faint but clear citrus-like character. This is produced by the special yeast and accounts for the Bavarian tradition of serving hefeweizens with a lemon. The lemon accentuates the yeast's fruity, tart fragrance. UFO has a soft mouth feel and a refreshing, light body.
