Brewed at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium.

The first in a new series of single hop IPA's from Mikkeller. Brewed with Simcoe, known for many great US micro-brews. An extremely fresh-hopped IPA.

Ingredients :
Water, malts (pilsner, cara-crystal and munich), hops (simcoe) and yeast.

Best With: 
With a bold emphasis on hop bitterness, India pale ales are the ultimate beverage pairing for spicy dishes. The sharp hop presence in most India pale ales can stand up to even the most devilish of spices in Cajun, Malaysian, Japanese, Indian, and Mexican cuisine.

Pairs well with andouille sausages or other Cajun dishes, as well as spicy Mexican foods and sautéed meats such as ribs.

This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider-Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous. The brewers at The Brooklyn Brewery eagerly await the July visit of Hans-Peter Drexler, when they will create Brooklyner-Schneider Hopfen-Weisse in Brooklyn.

Smooth and oily, full of flavor, complex mix of bitter roastiness, fruitiness and a definite zip of hops. This Baltic Porter is spectacular new, but ages exceptionally well. A seasoned beer geek would be delighted to find a bottle over ten years old. It is an intense Baltic style porter, very much in the Imperial Style that Empress Katharina of Russia loved so much. She decreed that "all her soldiers" had to be supplied with it [18th century].

Best With: 
This rich Baltic porter is a great accompaniment to a wide array of Mexican dishes, burgers, steaks, sausages, ham, smoky flavors and chocolate desserts.

A Northern German style Pilsner brewed with imported German Pils malt and hopped with German and Czech hops. Light in body, light straw in color and dry.

Best With: 
A great gold pilsner will always work with all seafood dishes, brothy soups, tapas, and just about anything off the backyard grill. This brew also lends itself nicely jambalaya, falafels, and certain Caribbean dishes. Fried pub fare is also a fine accompaniment to German pilsener.

Best With: 
The roasted and burnt malt notes of stout and its typical hearty nature make it an exceptional compliment to raw or steamed oysters, however stout is also at home with most chocolate or cream based desserts.
