red and bubbly. this beer tastes like a watermelon flavored soda. if you get it expecting beer flavor you will be dissappointed,but if you dont expect a beer flavor ot isn't too bad. a little too sweet for me but i used it to show my girlfriend that not all beer tastes the same. it became her gateway beer and now she is mpre adventurous and is trying to find beers tht she likes

I haven't had this beer since last year, but from what I recall it had a fair amount of Weizen-yeast character (banana, fruity esters, clove).
I didn't think the watermeleon flavor meshed very well with that yeast character personally--but it was definitely there (so I wouldn't say it tasted like watermelon flavored soda)...
