Brewed By:
Abita
Self-Defined Style:
Dark Brown Ale Abita Turbodog is a dark brown ale brewed with Willamette hops and a combination of British pale, crystal and chocolate malts. This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate-toffee like flavor.
Best With:
Turbo Dog is best with grilled meats such as steak and venison. Cajun style blackened chicken and pork chops as well as meaty chili's work well with Turbo Dog's hearty body and roasty aroma. User login

Very dark but not heavy. Chocolaty aroma and flavor with some cofee notes. Much more tilted to malt side and not very hoppy. Drinks very smooth and goes well with creole cuisine. I use it when cooking gumbo or red beans and rice.
it has a slight chocolate aroma and taste but not overpowering like other chocolate beers. i like it and i dont generally like chocolate beers!
Dark carmel brown.
Rather bland
