Brewed By:
Allagash
Self-Defined Style:
Ale Brewed with Grapes Over 100 pounds of Chardonnay grapes were crushed on site and added to the mash helping to create a light copper colored ale. Victoria has a fruity spice aroma with a hint of Chardonnay. The taste presents subtle notes of green banana, black pepper and fresh-crushed mint. It has a candied fruit finish with hints of honey dew melon and Chardonnay.
Best With:
The vinous characteristics of this beer serve as a nice accent to smoked salmon, as well as Stilton cheese. Mussels are also an excellent accompaniment to this beer.
