Self-Defined Style:
Belgian White Ale A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.
Best With:
This exceptional Belgian style white is very good with fried fish, sardines, Arctic char and salmon. The hops will also give this beer the muscle to stand up to spicy Thai and Mexican dishes. User login

Avery White Rascal Tasting Notes
Appearance: Pours a very light yellow with just a touch of haze. Bubbly, pure white head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma: Strong and wheaty with some citrus and spice notes.
Flavor: At once tart and sweet, with hints of lemon, pepper and clove.
Mouthfeel: The beer is highly carbonated, creating a very crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. A somewhat earthy aftertaste.
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a solid example of the witbier style. A potent, lovely aroma gets the experience off to a good start, the nicely balanced flavors complement the aroma, and the energetic mouthfeel helps prolong the goodness.
Comments: I picked up this bottle at the Whole Foods in Tribeca.
