Brewed By:
Baladin
Self-Defined Style:
Belgian Ale No head; dark red chestnut color. Very stimulating, nose vein-dilatating port wine or other fortified wine aroma, with exotic woods as sandalwood & cedar, chocolate, and alcohol. Vinous, similar to an exceptional vintage port. Very sweet, reminiscent of Marssala, and definitely again mild chocolate notes. Hints of oranges, preserved in brandy, stewed fruit, slowly oxidized and exotic spices seasoned. Viscous to syrupy, explosion of body & flavors at each sip, indestructible.
Best With:
Excellent choice with savory dishes, meats, slow-cooked French dishes, pork loin, lamb, rabbit, beef, salmon, potatoes, marinated roasts, rich cheeses, almost every rich dessert.
