Saison Ballast Point Brother Levonian Saison is named for the late Dave Levonian, a San Diegan who was a great homebrewer, an avid beer enthusiast and generally just a really good person. Ballast Point is donating all of the money from the beer to his daughter’s college fund.

Generally speaking, Belgian ale is a gastronomic miracle. The delicate spicy and fruity nature of these ales, accentuated by the distinctive Belgian yeast strains, pairs beautifully with lamb, mussels, and semi-soft cheeses such as gouda, havarti, and tilsit.
