Brewed By:
Bass
Self-Defined Style:
Pale Ale Brewed with English malts, aromatic hops, and water rich in essential salts and minerals, Bass has a malty, lightly hoppy taste, that combined with its slight burnt roast aroma, creates a full-bodied flavor of the highest quality.
Best With:
This English Pale Ale pairs nicely with clear broth based soups, salted almonds, game birds and all sorts of seafood. This brew also offers a nice balance to spicier Indian and Cajun foods. User login

bass ale
Tasty, not too bitter but just enough. Malty
US Version is "Unfortunate"
The fact that Bass Ale is now brewed in the USA (see "Product of the USA" on the label now) is a damned shame. This was always one of my favorite ales. As I taste it there is a marked difference in quality from the real Bass to this Bass. This Bass, in my humble layman's opinion, HAS no quality.
The end of an era. The beginning of an error. Run screaming...
Copper colored good head that dissipates rapidly.
Reminds me of the pub ale in tap in England around the RAF bases
