Pours a golden body with a white head and good retention with suspended yeast. Fruity floral fruit tones, light pear and crisp citrus notes. Light hop tones and floral notes. This delightful saison finishes soft with a light sweetness. Overall very refreshing.
The beer's aroma is produced by the spelt, traditionally grown in the territory of the Riserva regionale Montagne della Duchessa (the mountains of the Duchess, part of the mountain range of Appenin ). The name “Mountains of the Duchess” was coined by the engineer Francesco de Marchi Bologna in the sixteenth century in tribute to Margaret of Austria, Duchess of Parma and Piacenza and the Duchy of Lioness and Cittaducale.
