Brewed By:
Bluetongue
Self-Defined Style:
Pilsener Bluetongue's master brewers have enhanced the traditional pilsener recipe, first brewed in 1842 in the Bohemian township of Pilsen, to reflect modern taste and create a smooth, full flavored, easy drinking beer. At 4.5% ABV, Bluetongue Traditional Pilsener is a full bodied malty beer with high bitterness levels and fruity hop aromas aimed at the true beer connoisseur. Bluetongue traditional Pilsener is brewed with imported Czech Saaz and Amarillo hops using only soft Hunter Valley water.
Best With:
A great gold pilsner will always work with all seafood dishes, clear broth soups, tapas, and just about anything off the backyard grill. This brew also lends itself nicely jambalaya, falafels, and certain Caribbean dishes. Fried pub fare is also a fine accompaniment to German pilsener. User login
