Flavors are very complex. It goes from sweetness in front to bitterness in mid pallet to full on lingering after taste of hops in the back of the palate.
Very complex and may overpower any simple dish. This is best enjoyed with a spicy dish, enhancing where it will make any dish hotter than it would be perceived with a maltier beer. Also, it would probably work well with a lemon or citrus based dessert, one which would cut the aftertaste in half.
