Broughton Black Douglas Ale

The power and character of this exceptional knight, one of Scotland's heroes is, we believe, reflected in this dark ruby, traditional ale which bears his name. Medium-bodied, with a subtle hop aroma, on the palate this luxurious beer has a deep, full flavor which balances a toasty maltiness, mild bitterness, and a hint of sweet herbs. It finishes clean and mostly dry, but with a faintly subtle sweetness.
