Brewed By:
The Bruery
Self-Defined Style:
Belgian-style brown ale Brewed from the second runnings of our massive Imperial Stout, Humulus Bruin is a hoppy Belgian-style brown ale. Huge amounts of Summit and Sterling hops were added to the whirlpool and as dry hop additions, giving this beer an almost illicit aroma. Up front, hops dominate the avor but then give way to roasty, toffee-like malt.
Accolades:
Los Angeles International Beer Competition 2008, Gold, Experimental Beers
