Strong Golden Ale Aromas of orange, spice, and green grass. Clean malt-dominated flavor, with a subdued bitterness playing in the background of the aromas of this beer.
Best With:
A great match with fish and chicken, both sautéed and grilled, especially with citrus and herb preparations. Shellfish steamed in Liquid Gold is a match made in beer heaven.

Tap at Fette Sau. Shared a gallon with friends. (Yeah, at Fette Sau you can buy beer by the gallon on site.) Pours a faintly cloudy, glowing gold with a thick, soft white head. Wonderful Belgian aroma with notes of sweet fruits, white grapes perhaps, and candy sugar. Flavor is quite sweet with light cereal maltiness and subtle fruit notes. There is a decent hoppy kick as well, which helps to balance things out. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a smooth texture. Finishes sweet with lingering Belgian flavors. Really good.
