Comments
Deschutes: Black Butte Porter
Appearance:1-5 (5) Dark and Murky, Hardly Passes light through it.
Aroma:1-10 (10) Great aroma just like beer should be. You can smell the roast.
Flavor: Heavy almost harsh hoppy out of the gate, then smooth on the swallow and finishes with a hint of chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Creamy Smoothness on the toung.
Overall Impression: This is a good Beer. Great at clod temps. Best not to let warm. Better out of a glass.
Comments: Dark roasted beer that has a creamy frothy head that diminishes quickly with small lacing. Bitter at first but that's good. Smooths out on the swallow. leaving just a small hint of a chocolaty aftertaste.
