Self-Defined Style:
Brown Ale aged in Palo Santo Wood An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. very dark
Very dark, and very strong (for a brown), But it is great. Notes of vanilla. One of my favorite dark ales
The flavor is very similar to a Russian imperial stout...like Old Rasputan by North Coast Brewery. Nice job, Dogfish guys!
robust cup of coffee
Palo Santo Marron
Rich dark brown color with a light brown thick head of foam.
Aroma had strong banana notes with hints of vanilla and perhaps cherry?
Very smooth flavor. Nice sweetness, vanilla and banana flavors are present. The caramel flavor only makes brief appearance near the end. The high alcohol is almost not apparent until after the finish. I need to reemphasis this is a very smooth and sweet beer!
Full bodied
Good from start to finish!

Comments: My current favorite beer. Had some fresh at the Dogfish head brewery in Milton, DE last weekend. Cool place, excellent beer.
Appearance: Like a bad-ass
Appearance: Like a bad-ass cup of coffee
Aroma: Intense
Flavor: If taste buds could orgasm, this would trigger one.
Mouthfeel: Not even sure what "mouthfeel" means. Sounds dirty.
