Great IPA
Well balanced. Great flavor with slight bitter finish. I would drink again.
Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA
Dark, golden orange hue with off -white head that dissolves quickly, leaving behind a bubbly, sticky lacing.
Citrusy aroma with a sweet peach-like roundness.
Tasty IPA. Citrus and peach fruit flavors, honey and a light smokey spice.
Smooth, balanced and well rounded with a slight heat from the alcohol.
Never a let down. A beer that I have enjoyed on many occasions and will proceed to enjoy for many more.
Firestone Walker Union Jack Tasting Notes
Bottle. Crystal clear, yellow-honey pour. A quite foamy, off-white head. Nose holds some pine and certain fruits, perhaps grapefruit. Tastes delicious. Achieves an excellent balance of bitter and sweet notes. Sweet with wonderful citrus character. Medium to full bodied with a resiney mouthfeel. Long and bitter on the finish with some earthiness, smoke and oak. Not too sticky. Great.
