Imperial IPA New for 2011, this Imperial IPA’s full malt body is elevated by the loads of hop flavor and bitterness. Copious amounts of Citra, Chinook, Columbus, Cascade and Centennial hops are used to give this beer a wonderful aroma of orange zest and lemon. This fruitiness from the hops is complimented by a nice caramel biscuit malt flavor from the pale and crystal malts and finishes balanced with a slight hop kick. This beer was dry hopped for your enjoyment. Available in 22oz Bottles.

Comments
Full Sail Elevation IPA
Appearance: Bright orange, similar to the color of the bottle. Poured in my Chimay goblet.
Aroma: Definitely smell the Citra and Centennial hops up front with a little hint of the caramel malt. Very pleasant.
Flavor: The nose mirrors the flavor. Hops right up front but not overbearing the way many DIPAs can get. Nice grapefruity flavor from the Citra hops. Towards the end the biscuit malts balance everything out. Nice clean finish
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Decent carbonation. Very good.
Overall Impression: Excellent Imperial IPA. Little lacking in the ABV department but that makes it a good starter for the new born hop head.
Comments: Never had a Full Sail brew that I didn't enjoy, great company. Keep it up Full Sail!
