How big a bummer was Prohibition? As if taking everyone's brew away wasn't bad enough, hundreds of little independent breweries that once made super tasty beers basically got worked. And when they went out of business, America not only lost the breweries, it lost what American beer used to taste like. Session is our way of bringing back the pre-Prohibition American Lager. It's an all-malt Continental Pilsner brewed with American and European hops, so it's flavorful, refreshing, and has a touch of that import-style taste. (Which, once upon a time, you didn't have to buy an "import" to get.) Oh, and it comes in a stubby, 11-oz bottle like your grandpa used to buy. Which seemed appropriate since he was invented back before Prohibition, too. So after your next session (surf, jam, gab, whatever), crack open a Session and drink to the good old new days.

Session Lager
Appearance:
A nice straw blonde lager with a generous amount of carbonation. Unlike other American Lagers this beer has a good golden color.
Aroma:
Minimal hoppiness but clean and malty.
Flavor:
Dry and crisp with a malty backbone. Slight hoppiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel:
A good mouthfeel for an American Lager.
