Self-Defined Style:
India Pale Ale India Pale Ale, so-called because of the market it was created for, was first brewed in Burton-Upon-Trent in 1822. Demand for an English ale amongst British troops serving in India was high, so the ale sent out to the East was heavily hopped and brewed to a high gravity, so that it could ferment slowly throughout the long journey, reaching the peak of its condition as it arrived. Fuller's own premium quality India Pale Ale reflects all the traditional characteristics associated with this historic beer.
Best With:
This very drinkable English IPA has an affinity for spicier fare, but also pairs with anything from avocados to Mexican dishes to calamari to bar foods. User login
