A unique, distinctive and delicious bottled beer which is still bottled, corked and labeled in the traditional manner at Horndean. A winner of many prestigious awards, Prize Old Ale improves with keeping, and is a delight on a cold winter's evening. Reddish in color, distinctive aroma of hops and green apple. The flavor is spicy and malty in the mouth, and a dry, even tart fruity finish with hints of raisins and apple. This beer becomes a masterpiece with several years of cellaring.
