Originally brewed in 1810, Oktoberfest Bier is steeped in tradition. Goose Island's Oktoberfest is brewed in Chicago, but with the same time-honored methods and ingredients the German brewers used back at the first Oktoberfest Celebration almost 2 centuries ago. We use the best German and North American malts, noble German hops and pure lager yeast to produce this complex bottom fermented lager. A sweet maltiness dominates the palate. That's followed by a clean, subtle hop finish. This is a season and a beer no true beer drinker will want to miss.
